I have worked all my life with the public, many years in retail, and now, several years in construction. I have been self-employed for many years and know the importance of good service.

It was early in 2007 that I decided to re-train as a Domestic Energy Assessor as I saw it as a way to do my bit for the environment, and make a living at the same time. Though it is early days I think EPCs will be common place soon, just as ratings on white goods are, and I look forward to "spreading the word". I have recently become involved with the setting up of a group called Pro DEA, aimed at raising the standards of DEAs and the EPC generally.

I live in Chesterfield with my wife and have 3 children. Living near the motorway network means I can travel to a variety of locations.
